Surfside Beach Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

Santa himself will be present for photo opportunities.

Surfside Beach is hosting its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Festival Thursday night.

The event will feature live music as well as performances. There will also be food trucks, arts and craft vendors, face painting, ornament decorating, giveaways, a snow machine and more.

Kids will be able to write a letter to Santa at a writing station. And Santa himself will be present for photo opportunities.

The festivities kick off at 4pm with the tree lighting taking place at 6:30pm.

The event at Memorial Park is free and will wrap up at 7pm.
