Police responded shortly before 8:30am to the Paradise Resort along S. Ocean Boulevard.
Hotel staff reported a weapons discharge took place.
Two people have been detained in connection to the incident. Identities of those involved have not been released.
No injuries were reported and the scene was declared safe.
