One Person Dies After Crashing Into A Tree In Georgetown County

A 2018 audi was heading east on Pennyroyal Road near Woodstock Street.

One person died after a crash in Georgetown occurred Saturday night.

The incident unfolded just before 10:30pm.

A 2018 Audi was heading east on Pennyroyal Road near Woodstock Street when the driver veered off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

The crash is under investigation.
