The TSA has shared what you can bring on a flight in regards to Thanksgiving travel.
Although most foods can be carried through TSA checkpoints, some dishes may need to be packed with checked baggage.
Solid food can typically go through checkpoints hassle-free. However, not “if you can spill it, spread it, spray it, pump it or pour it.”
Also remember if it’s larger than 3.4 ounces it will need to be placed in a checked bag.
Common Thanksgiving foods including baked goods, meats, stuffing casseroles, mac-and-cheese, spices and more can be carried through TSA checkpoints.
