Tiny Home For Veterans To Soon Be Completed
This is the first-of-its-kind project for the organization and it has reportedly been a long process.
The Veterans Welcome Home Resource Center is inching closer to completing a project.
The organization has been building 25 tiny homes for over two years now.
The homes will house local Veterans.
The project kicked off in October of 2022 and was expected to have Veterans moved in by the winter of that year. However, this is the first-of-its-kind project for the organization and it has reportedly been a long process.
The homes are each built but not quite move-in ready. Sewer tests are being conducted and as soon as that passes, the organization will get a certificate of occupancy.
Then paperwork will be turned in so they can start moving Veterans into the homes.
An official date for move-in day was not announced.
