Man Arrested After Stabbing Two Victims Inside Florence Medical Center
The woman victim was holding the young child at the time of the attack.
One man was arrested after two victims were stabbed inside a Florence medical office.
The incident occurred around 10:45am Monday inside Eastern Carolina Pediatric on McClure Court.
33-year-old Tevin Washington allegedly got into an argument with his child’s mother and her stepfather.
Amid high tensions he allegedly stabbed the woman and the stepfather. The woman was holding the child at the time of the attack.
Washington fled the scene with his child. Around 30-minutes later, he was found at his home along with the child said to be 4 to 5 months old.
The child was not harmed and the two victims are said to be in stable condition.
Washington is charged with two counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and unlawful conduct toward a child.
