DJ was arrested by CCU police on October 17. He was charged with simple possession of marijuana and carrying or displaying a firearm in public buildings or surrounding areas.

Moore was released the next day on a bond of over $2,100.

The player committed to the Chants in April of 2023. He was rated as a three-star recruit by several sites and was rated as the No. 25 quarterback in the high school class of 2024 by ESPN.
