Trump And Biden Participate In Meeting At The White House
The meeting comes after Trump did not invite Biden to the White House after he lost to the Democrat four years ago.
President-elect and President Joe Biden sat down for a meeting at the White House Wednesday.
The two sat beside each other in front of a fireplace in the Oval Office just over a week after Trump secured the win in the presidential election.
Biden congratulated the Republican on his victory. He pledged to follow tradition and provide Trump’s team with a smooth transition.
Throughout the two hour meeting, Biden reportedly answered his successor’s questions and “offered up his thoughts.”
