There are several events you can attend to celebrate Veteran’s Day.

Market Common

  • Veteran’s Appreciation Ball: Friday from 6-8pm. Veterans are invited to join in on the dancing fun at the general Robert H. Reed Recreation Center.

Myrtle Beach

  • Veterans Day Ceremony: Ceremony at the World War II Memorial, located in Warbird Park. The ceremony begins at 11am on Monday.

North Myrtle Beach

Conway

  • Salute to Veterans: Free event to be held at Coastal Carolina University’s Wheelwright Auditorium on Monday at 7:30pm.

Surfside Beach

Murrells Inlet

Georgetown

  • Field of Honor: Hundreds of U.S. flags will be displayed at the International Paper site along Bourne Street. The flags will remain through December. S.C. Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette will speak at the opening ceremony at 2pm Saturday.
