Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach Hosting Community Health and Wellness Fair

This family-friendly event, taking place from 11 AM to 4 PM, aims to bring together residents, families, and local organizations for a day dedicated to health, safety, and community engagement.

The event will feature a range of vendors, including:
- Walgreens Community Outreach Clinic: Offering free blood pressure screenings, medicine counseling, and a variety of vaccinations (including flu, shingles, hepatitis A and B, and COVID vaccines). Vaccinations require proof of ID and a current insurance card.
- Horry County Fire Rescue: Providing education on fire safety and emergency preparedness, offering resources to help families stay safe and prepared.
- Kind Keeper No-Kill Animal Rescue: Promoting pet adoption and raising awareness for animal welfare, Kind Keeper will discuss the benefits of pet ownership for mental and physical health. They invite the community to support their mission and learn more about volunteer opportunities.
- Cigna Health: A representative from Cigna will be available to discuss health plan options, preventative services, and wellness resources to support individuals in making informed healthcare choices.
- Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach: A resort representative will showcase the amenities and offer walking tours for those interested in learning more about the facility’s offerings.
This event is free to the public, and all are encouraged to attend to learn more about health resources, community safety, and wellness opportunities available in the Grand Strand and its surrounding areas.
