When it comes to job interviews, we all know that dressing to impress is important. But apparently, the colors you wear can matter just as much. Interview coaching professionals say that colors can influence an interviewers first impression of you and convey different character traits. They say you shouldn’t wear orange, brown, red, or multi-colored clothing, as orange can seem unprofessional, red may be too aggressive, brown can appear boring, and multi-colored outfits might be distracting. The best color to wear is blue, which suggests loyalty, followed by black, gray, and white, which all show professionalism.
