Man Arrested After Fatally Shooting His Cousin

21-year-old Mikell Lance was shot several times with a handgun. The two men reportedly got into a fight which prompted shots fired.

An arrest has been made after one person was fatally shot on Saturday.

Shortly after 2pm, 21-year-old Mikell Lance was shot several times with a handgun on Castlers Heights Road in Longs. He was transported to a hospital where he later died.

19-year-old Isaiah Conner has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime

The two men were cousins and reportedly got into a fight which prompted shots fired.

Conner was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center and is being held without bond.
