McDonald’s Quarter Pounders To Return To Menus
Testing was conducted on the beef patties but they were ruled out as a source of the contamination.
McDonald’s announced that Quarter Pounder burgers will be returning to menus at locations affected by an E. Coli outbreak.
The sandwich was taken off menus at McDonald’s in several states after the outbreak left around 50 people ill and one person dead.
Testing was conducted on the beef patties but they were ruled out as a source of the contamination.
An investigation revealed the E. Coli disease was linked to the onions that come on the burger.
The onions were distributed by Taylor Farms’ Colorado Springs facility, where the FDA investigation is still ongoing.
The Quarter Pounder will now return to menus without onions but a specific date has not been announced.
