On Election Day, Lyft is offering a 50% discount of up to $10 as part of its voting access program.
Users can pre-load the code “VOTE24” on or before November 5 for rideshare, bike-share or scooter rides.
The code is only available to use between 5am-10pm.
Lyft reported that even one-mile increase in distance from a polling site can reduce turnout by up to 20% and the company wants to make sure every voice is heard despite distance.
