Two Charged After 250 Pounds Of Marijuana Found During Traffic Stop

17-year-old Kang Huang and 25-year-old Kevin Li were both arrested and charged.

A traffic stop in Florence County led to the discovery of drugs.

Monday, Florence police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding on Interstate 95.

During the stop, deputies seized 250 pounds of marijuana. The estimated street value was $500,000.

17-year-old Kang Huang and 25-year-old Kevin Li were both arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana.

Both of the New York men are being held at the Florence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
