Downtown Marion Now Decorated For Halloween

City crew members hung the pumpkins last week as well as put up additional decorations.

Downtown marion is celebrating spooky season by transforming into a Halloween display.

Plastic pumpkins decorate the trees that line Main Street in the Downtown District. City crew members hung the pumpkins last week as well as put up additional decorations.

The Historic Marion Revitalization Association helped make the display possible. They will be hosting a first of it’s kind ‘Monster Mash Karaoke Contest’ which will include fun and music.

Participants are asked to come dressed in their best costume for a chance to win a cash prize.

The event is set to take place on Saturday at the Amazing Grace Park starting at 6pm.
