Annual American Heart Association Beach Ride Returning to Myrtle Beach
There are still a few spots available for this year’s event.
The American Heart Association is set to host the 43rd annual Beach Ride from Nov. 6 – 10 at Lakewood Camping Resort. The event will welcome over 1,000 horses and trail riders to Myrtle Beach.
Greg speaks with local resident Kristina Barkhouser, who has attended the Beach Ride since 2013.
The event raises awareness that cardiovascular disease remains the No. 1 cause of death, claiming the lives
of one out of every three Americans, while raising critical funds for research, education, and advocacy. The
Association hopes to raise over $500,000 during the 2024 campaign.
