New ASL Statue To Be Added To Myrtle Beach’s Public Art Collection

The statue displays the ASL sign for "I love you."

A new piece is being added to Myrtle Beach’s public art collection.

The statue was designed by students from the S.C. School for the Deaf and Blind.

It displays the ASL sign for “I love you.”

The piece highlights accessibility and deaf culture.

The cost for installing and transporting the statue is still under review.

An unveiling date has not been set yet.

However, we do know a choir performance from the school may be part of the event.
