President Biden is making a trip to North Carolina Wednesday to visit the areas devastated by flooding. He is also sending up to 1,000 troops to aid in recovery efforts. However, he is going to limit is trip so not to disrupt ongoing recovery efforts.
Some towns were completely washed away and crews are working to assist those in need.
The death toll is expected to climb as Biden previously shared that there are 600 people who remain unaccounted for following the storm.
