The new worth would make a gold bar or brick weighing 400 Troy ounces, worth over $1.06 million. That amount is the highest record to date.
Recent gains for the precious metal are largely credited to ongoing economic uncertainty. It’s also due to strong demand from central banks around the world and several other factors.
