New York City Mayor Indicted On Five Federal Charges

The charges relate to bribery, wire fraud, conspiracy and soliciting campaign contributions from foreign nationals, according to a 57-page indictment.

The mayor of New York City has been indicted following a federal investigation.

Federal agents were spotted at Mayor Eric Adams’ home at Gracie Mansion early Thursday morning. He has been indicted on five federal charges.

The charges relate to bribery, wire fraud, conspiracy and soliciting campaign contributions from foreign nationals, according to a 57-page indictment.

The indictment comes on the heels of several investigations involving the mayor and members of his administration.

The probes have been playing out for months starting in November of last year.

Adams said it is his belief that the federal government intends to charge him on false baseless lies.
