MasterChef: Generations entered its 14th season with an all-new theme. Gordon Ramsay, acclaimed chef Aarón Sánchez and renowned restaurateur Joe Bastianich returned for the ultimate cook-off, as the top home cooks from four different generations, inclusive of Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X and Baby Boomers, battled it out.
This season’s winner, Michael Leonard joins Carolina AM to talk about his time on the show, his cooking inspirations and more! Michael is a Myrtle Beach-based business owner who competed in this season representing Millennials.
Michael’s winning menu for the show, which consisted of Truffle Tortellini (appetizer), Herb Crusted Rack of Venison (entrée), and Deconstructed Peach Cobbler (dessert), took the judges through his roots and entire journey to being where he is today.
He took home a MasterChef trophy, a Viking kitchen package, kitchen tools from OXO, $250,000, and the title of MasterChef!
