Plane Door Falls Into A Yard In Market Common
Two people were on board the instructional flight, but neither was injured.
The door of a small airplane fell into a yard in the Market Common earlier this week.
On Tuesday, it was found intact lying between two homes.
The door was attached to a Diamond DA-40 aircraft that took off at 2:53pm before turning around and landing at 3:01pm.
The small-engine plane reportedly reached up to 1,500-feet before the incident.
Two people were on board the instructional flight, but neither was injured.
The cabin door was recovered and will be examined as part of an investigation into what happened.
