A tech company is expanding and relocating its headquarters to Florence County.

Asset Technology Group is investing $6.2 million for the new 8,500-square-foot headquarters. It will be located at 901 Second Loop Road in Florence.

ATG specializes in technology infrastructure for small-to-medium-sized businesses and municipalities. The company helps clients with installing, configuring and maintaining reliable IT solutions and support.

The new headquarters is expected to create 77 new jobs in the area.

Operations will begin online in the fourth quarter of this year.
