Suspect Arrested After Hours-Long Standoff In Horry County

The suspect fled into an apartment unit in the Deerfield Community on Auburn Lane and S. Reindeer Road.

One suspect was arrested after an hours-long standoff unfolded in Horry County.

Around 9pm Thursday night, a shooting took place that injured two people. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

The suspect fled into an apartment unit in the Deerfield Community on Auburn Lane and S. Reindeer Road.

They refused to come out which prompted the HCPD Special Operations Team to arrive on the scene.

SWAT, Negotiations and Drone teams also assisted.

The suspect was taken into custody shortly after 11pm.
