Bryan Kohberger’s Request For Murder Trial Venue Change Approved

The trial will now be held in another judicial district but the new location was not specified.

An Idaho judge has accepted Bryan Kohberger’s request to have his trial moved out of Latah County.

Kohberger is accused of killing four University of Idaho students in an early morning home invasion attack on November 13 of 2022.

The case gained national attention and an investigation led to 29-year-old Kohberger’s arrest. He was detained in Pennsylvania weeks after the slayings.

The suspect’s lawyers argued the suspect would not get a fair trial in Latah County due to “extensive, inflammatory pretrial publicity.”
