The Chiefs Win The First NFL Regular Season Game
It was shown that Isaiah Likely's toe was just on the back line and the play was ruled incomplete.
The first NFL regular season game was played Thursday night.
The Kansas City Chiefs barely grasped the win over the Baltimore Ravens.
With just seconds left, the score was 27-20 with the Chiefs leading.
On the final play, Lamar Jackson threw to tight end and former CCU player, Isaiah Likely, for a touchdown as time expired.
The score would have given the Ravens 26 points. If kicker Justin Tucker would have made the field goal, they would have tied.
However, after review of the play it was shown that Likely’s toe was just on the back line and the play was ruled incomplete.
The call handed the Chiefs their first win of the NFL regular season.
