The president’s son pleaded guilty to all nine charges in his federal tax case.

District Judge Mark Scarsi accepted the plea after an all-day hearing that began with jury selection process for the trial that was set to last for weeks.

Biden could face up to 17 years in prison for his crimes, which include tax evasion, filing fraudulent tax returns and failing to pay taxes. Judge Scarsi also said he could impose a hefty fine as much as $1.3 million.

The judge has now set Biden’s sentencing date for December 16.
