Beach Rules Change After Labor Day
The City of Myrtle Beach will now allow you to bring your dogs on the beach, but they must be on a leash.
Beach rules across the Grand Strand officially change Tuesday.
The City of Myrtle Beach will now allow you to bring your dogs on the beach, but they must be on a leash.
You may also have dogs and bicycles on the boardwalk.
You also now able to use tents and canopies up to 12-feet in addition to umbrellas, but they must be 10 feet behind the umbrella line.
The splash pad at Futrell Park is now shut off until Memorial Day.
Kayakers and surfers no longer have to stay in designated areas during certain times.
The same rules apply for North Myrtle Beach.
Surfside Beach will also have similar rule changes but they will not go into effect until September 15.
