Boeing’s Starliner Spacecraft To Return Without Crew

Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams were both aboard the spacecraft that took them to the International  Space Station.

Boeing’s Starliner is officially set to return home.

Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams were both aboard the spacecraft that took them to the International  Space Station after launching for a test flight on June 5.

NASA later announced the spacecraft was experiencing gas leaks and issues with the capsule’s propulsion system, making the spacecraft unsafe to finish its mission with crew on board.

The unmanned starliner is now set to return on September 6 with intentions of landing in New Mexico’s White Sands Space Harbor around midnight.

Meanwhile, Wilmore and Williams are expected to return home on a SpaceX capsule in February.
