Six Additional People Die In Connection To Multi-State Listeria Outbreak

The sickness has been linked to Boar's Head which has now recalled its Strassburger Brand Liverwurst as well as 7 million pounds of meat.

Six additional people have died in connection to a multi-state Listeria outbreak.

The number of deaths is now nine and 57 people have been hospitalized since the outbreak began.

The deaths have occurred in several states including South Carolina as the outbreak has affected 18 states all together.

Consumers are urged to refrain from consuming the recalled products that have been removed from shelves but could still be in freezers of homes.
