Walmart Recalls Nearly 10,000 Cases Of Apple Juice

The recall was placed due to the discovery of potentially harmful levels of inorganic arsenic.

Walmart has placed a recall on nearly 10,000 cases of apple juice sold in stores across 25 states.

The recall covers Great Value brand apple juice that were sold in six-packs of 8-ounce bottles.

It was placed due to the discovery of potentially harmful levels of inorganic arsenic. The levels of the chemical contaminant exceed industry standards.

Levels found in the recalled juice bottles are low enough that the FDA doesn’t expect them to cause severe health consequences, but the recall was placed out of caution.

The products were sold in North and South Carolina.

Consumers are urged to refrain from drinking the juice, throw them out or return them to place of purchase.
