The unspoken manners you should follow.

Group texts can be a great way to stay connected, but there’s definitely some unspoken manners you should follow to not annoy everyone. First off, no one loves their phone blowing up—so try to keep messages concise and relevant. Be mindful of the time—nobody wants to hear that notification ding at 2 am! And remember, not everyone in the group might be as interested in the latest cat meme as you are. It’s also important to keep personal info out of the chat and respect everyone’s privacy. Only chime in when you’ve got something to add and ask yourself, if what you have to say should just be a one-on-one text exchange.
