Scrabble Adds Gen-Z Lingo To The Game’s Dictionary

The new vocabulary marks the first significant addition to the Scrabble dictionary in years.

Scrabble has added 2,000 new words to the game’s dictionary.

The new words include Gen-Z lingo such as “Yeet,” “Boujier,” “Amirite” and many more.

Other new words beyond the Gen-Z scope include commonly used words such as “Anyhoo,” “Thingie,” “Autofill” and more.

The new vocabulary marks the first significant addition to the Scrabble dictionary in years.

The changes come as Scrabble works to include younger generations in the family-friendly fun competition.
