If you have a favorite way to relax, today might be the perfect day to do it. That’s because August 15th is National Relaxation Day, the annual day to focus on yourself. Whether it’s work, family, or other commitments that keep our lives busy, taking some time away is key to reducing stress. Many of us have a favorite activity to de-stress, but this day might be the chance to try something new. It turns-out National Relaxation Day was not the brainchild of an adult, but of someone much younger. The idea for the day is credited to fourth-grader Sean Moeller in 1985. Moeller told an interviewer that people shouldn’t do anything of real value for the day.
