Suspect Sentenced For Making Bomb Threat Against Carolina Forest High
The suspect was ordered not to have contact with Horry County Schools and his supervision will be transferred to Louisiana.
A man has now been sentenced in connection to a bomb threat made against Carolina Forest High School in April.
19-year-old Trenton Brown of Baton Rouge, pleaded guilty to first-offense making a bomb threat or conveying false information regarding a bomb threat. He admitted to calling the school and the Myrtle Beach Police Department to report the threat several times between April 23-24.
An investigation linked the calls to Brown’s number. He has now been sentenced to 18-months probation after serving 94 days in jail.
Brown was not given credit for time previously served. He was also ordered not to have contact with Horry County Schools and his supervision will be transferred to Louisiana.
