Submerged Vehicle Located In The Intracoastal Waterway
It was said, in its current location, it poses no threat to marine transportation in the waterway.
A submerged vehicle was located in the Intracoastal Waterway Monday afternoon.
The vehicle was found near Highway 501 in the Myrtle Beach area.
Horry County Fire Rescue’s marine rescue and dive team worked to find it along with help from the Myrtle Beach Fire Department and SCDNR.
The vehicle was discovered to be unoccupied. It was said, in its current location, it poses no threat to marine transportation in the waterway.
Horry County Police and the U.S. Coast Guard also assisted the situation.
