A 12-year-old boy died in a car crash on flooded roads. A 19-year-old man, 38-year-old woman, and 64-year-old man have also died as a result of the storm.
Debby’s center hit southeastern Georgia early Tuesday morning with maximum sustained winds near 45-miles-per-hour. Around 500 people were rescued Monday from flooded homes in Sarasota, Florida alone.
Catastrophic flooding is expected to continue as Debby makes its way into South Carolina.
