We all know how important it is to get a good night’s rest for our mental and physical health. But these days, more and more people are struggling to fall asleep.
One technique you can try is developed by the military to help soldiers fall asleep anywhere, anytime. Start by relaxing your whole body, from the top of your forehead to the tips of your toes. Then, take deep breaths as you slowly relax. Lastly, clear your mind. If you start to think about something, repeat the words “don’t think” over and over again for 10 seconds. Practice this tactic every night for six weeks, and before you know it, you’ll be asleep within minutes!
