Russia Conducts Massive Drone Attack Against Ukraine

The overnight attacks mainly targeted the region in and around the capital Kyiv.

Russia launched one of the largest drone attacks on Ukraine since the start of the war.

The overnight attacks mainly targeted the region in and around the capital Kyiv.

The massive attack lasted over seven hours and the drones came in waves. However, it was said all 89 drones were shot down and none of them reached their target. There were no hits to residential or critical infrastructure though 13 houses did sustain damage due to downed drones.

Despite slight damage, no casualties were reported. However, the attack marks the largest on the capital so far this year, and the seventh time Russia has targeted Kyiv this month.

This war has been ongoing since February of 2022 when Russia invaded Ukraine.
