Body Found In Robeson County Pond

The body will be sent to the N.C. Medical Examiner's Office for official identification and cause of death.

A body was found in a Robeson County pond Tuesday.

Police were following up on information gained in a missing persons investigation.

The man has been missing since July 9, but wasn’t reported until July 14.

While searching in the area of Conaster Drive and Plateau Lane, a helicopter spotted a body in the water.

The deceased individual is believed to be the missing man. However, the body will be sent to the N.C. Medical Examiner’s Office for official identification and cause of death.
