President Biden To Call For Major Supreme Court Reforms

The reforms aim to "restore trust and accountability when it comes to the presidency and the U.S. Supreme Court."

President Biden is expected to call for major Supreme Court reforms at an event Monday.

White House officials said Biden will call for an amendment dubbed the ‘No One is Above the Law Amendment.’ It will state the constitution “does not confer any immunity from federal criminal indictment, trial, conviction, or sentencing by virtue of previously serving as president.”

Biden will also call for 18 year term limits for Supreme Court justices instead of serving lifetime appointments.

The reforms aim to “restore trust and accountability when it comes to the presidency and the U.S. Supreme Court.”

Such reforms would require Congressional approval, which is expected to be difficult to secure.
