Man Allegedly Rams Vehicle After Threatening Victims With Box Cutter
The suspect was asked to leave again before he allegedly pulled out a box cutter charging toward the victims.
One man is facing several charges after a series of incidents in Horry County.
Around 9pm on Tuesday, police were called to Harvester Circle.
Upon arrival, a woman informed officials that she and 42-year-old Dustin Gregg got into an argument. When he was asked to leave he refused so she called friends for help.
Gregg was asked to leave again before he allegedly pulled out a box cutter charging toward the victims. One of them punched him in the face and he fled outside. He got into his vehicle and rammed into one of the friends’ vehicles, causing nearly $5,000 in damages.
The next day, police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Gregg’s Tahoe for speeding. He failed to stop leading police on a brief chase on Carolina Forest Boulevard before he crashed. He then fled on foot and was captured shortly after.
Gregg was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree assault and more.
