Girlfriend Of Brittanee Drexel’s Convicted Killer Pleads Guilty To Lying
Angel Vause pleads guilty to two counts of giving false statements to the FBI of the events leading up to, during and after the incident.
The long-time girlfriend of Brittanee Drexel’s convicted killer has admitted to lying to investigators regarding the 2009 murder.
Drexel was visiting Myrtle Beach at the time and was initially reported missing. However, her remains were discovered 15-years later.
Raymond Moody was arrested in 2022 and later found guilty and sentenced to prison.
Angel Vause was a part of the case as she was with Moody the night of the murder. She has now pleaded guilty to two counts of giving false statements to the FBI of the events leading up to, during and after the incident.
Vause initially said she was heading home while Drexel was being assaulted and killed by Moody but she was actually traveling in a different direction. She also testified Drexel voluntarily joined the couple to consume drugs. However, she admitted Drexel was actually abducted under false pretenses.
Vause is now facing a maximum of 10 years and $500,000 in fines.
