Chipotle CEO Addresses Burrito Bowl Portion Size Debate

In recent months, Chipotle customers have been raging on social media regarding the chain’s burrito bowl portions.
Many consumers have taken to platforms to share their experience with the chain claiming employees are skimping on portions when making the bowls. Some even went as far as to record employees while they make the bowls with intent to post if they were made incorrectly.
The company’s CEO Brian Niccol has now addressed the angry crowds. He said there was never a directive to provide less to customers. He added that the feedback has caused them to reevaluate their execution across their entire system.

Niccol said they are working to train and coach employees to ensure they are consistently making bowls and burritos correctly.
