Second Arrest Made In Connection To Ongoing Homicide Investigation
On Monday, 22-year-old Nalyjah Alford was also arrested in connection to the incident and is facing the same charges.
Another arrest has been made in connection to a homicide investigation.
On June 27, police responded to Wiregrass Road in the Lumberton area on reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officials found 23-year-old Terry Leach Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound. He died from his injuries.
A few days later, 24-year-old Shyheim Alford was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, assault with a deadly weapon with a minor present and felony conspiracy.
On Monday, 22-year-old Nalyjah Alford was also arrested in connection to the incident and is facing the same charges.
Both are being held at the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
