The House has created a bipartisan task force to investigate the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.
In a joint statement, House Speaker Mike Johnson and Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said the security failures that allowed the incident to unfold is shocking.
In response to bipartisan demands for answers, the task force will be made of seven Republicans and six Democrats. Those selected will thoroughly investigate the matter.
