City Of Florence Issues Boil Water Advisory For Some Areas

The advisory will stay in effect until test results for bacteriological quality are completed.

On Monday, a boil water advisory was placed for customers in several parts of the City of Florence.

The advisory was issued due to a six-inch water break.

Water services have since been restored, but there is another outage Tuesday for crews to complete necessary repairs.

The advisory will stay in effect until test results for bacteriological quality are completed.

Test results should be complete by Wednesday and residents will be updated regarding the status.

Those included in the advisory are customers located in the 400 to 800 blocks of South Church Street, 400 to 800 blocks of South Barringer Street, 300 block of Ervin Street, East Campbell Street, Prince Street, Noble Street, 200 block of East Elm Street, 400 to 700 blocks of Jarrott Street and the 400 block of Railroad Avenue.
