One Injured And Several Displaced After Horry County Residential Fire

The person who was hurt suffered minor injuries and is expected to be ok.

A two-alarm fire in Horry County left one person injured and several people displaced.

The incident unfolded Thursday along Winburn Road in the Galivants Ferry area.

Crews responded shortly before 12:30pm and the fire was under control by 2:30.

Five residential units were destroyed.

The person who was hurt suffered minor injuries and is expected to be ok.

The American Red Cross of S.C. will be assisting the displaced residents.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
