Netflix Is Getting Rid Of It’s Cheapest Ad-Free Plan

The streaming giant said that it will soon begin phasing out the basic ad-free plan which costs $11.99 per month.

The streaming giant said that it will soon begin phasing out the basic ad-free plan which costs $11.99 per month.

The company initially quit offering the basic plan for new subscribers in July of last year, but allowed customers who already had the plan to remain on the subscription.

However, now Netflix is getting rid of the plan completely in the U.S.. The plan was previously dropped in the U.K. and Canada.

Other Netflix plans include a $6.99 monthly option with ads, a $15.49 monthly standard HD video quality plan without ads and a $22.99 premium ultra HD plan also without ads.
